6 of the Best Brunches in Loudoun County

August 19, 2021 by spugh Leave a Comment

Here in Loudoun County, we love brunch. There’s no shortage of places to dine during those magic hours between morning and afternoon, and there’s certainly something for everyone. Here are a few of my favorite brunch spots throughout Loudoun County.

Please note: At the time of writing in summer 2021, COVID-19 is still causing major problems throughout the community. Some restaurants are operating at reduced capacity, or offer carry-out only. Please check the restaurant’s operating hours before coming for a visit.

Brunch Spots in Loudoun County

Buford’s Biscuits

Biscuits are a staple of southern cooking, and at Buford’s, you’ll satisfy all of your carb cravings. Not only can you get biscuits with flights of seasonal jams or gravies, you can also choose from a variety of hearty biscuit sandwiches and sweets.

Visit their website for more information.

Drop in for a visit here:

15 Loudoun St SE

Leesburg, VA 20175

The Bungalow Lakehouse

For brunch at The Bungalow Lakehouse, you can come on Saturday, Sunday, or both! Not only is the food delicious, the scenery is amazing, too. Take a seat on the patio to get a view of the lake from which this sprawling restaurant gets its name. Ever had a breakfast pizza? Here, you can — their version has scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, and two different types of cheeses.

Stop by with a group or on your own here, conveniently located right off Rt. 7:

46116 Lake Center Plz

Sterling, VA 20165

First Watch

First Watch has a large and extremely diverse menu, which makes it the go-to spot for any and all brunch desires on any day of the week. They focus on fresh, organic, locally-sourced foods, which makes this a prime destination for the more health-focused folks out there. However, there are plenty of dishes to indulge in as well, if you’re looking to spoil yourself.

First Watch has multiple locations, but you can find their Leesburg location here:

603 Potomac Station Dr NE

Leesburg, VA 20176

Market Table Bistro

For the foodies who love locally sourced ingredients, take a trip out to the historic town of Lovettesville on either Saturday or Sunday. Market Table Bistro prides itself on working with local farmers and suppliers to bring you the best dining experiences. Some unique dishes on the brunch menu include the chilled cucumber and avocado soup, and the mushroom and brie omelette.

Market Table Bistro can be found here:

13 E Broad Way

Lovettsville, VA 20180

There’s a lot to love about Lovettsville. Learn more about this community here.

Harrimans Virginia Piedmont Grill

On Sundays, you can indulge in a three course brunch at Salamander Resort & Spa. Harriman’s is an upscale dining experience, so reservations are highly recommended. Some of the items you can find on the menu include carrot cake french toast, roasted tenderloin, and miniature avocado toasts. Harriman’s is a lovely, lavish place to celebrate those important milestones in life.

For more information and to make a reservation, visit their website.

If you’ve already planned your trip, here’s where you can find them:

500 N Pendleton St.

Middleburg, VA 20118

West End Wine Bar & Pub

On Sundays, West End opens their wine bar for brunch. You’ll see a lot of dishes you’re probably familiar with, and several that are souped-up twists on old classics. Shrimp and grits? They’ve got shrimp and grits with Andouille sausage. There’s also an impressive cocktail and dessert menu to peruse.

Check out their website, then pay them a visit:

36855 W Main St.

Purcellville, VA 20132
